About Youngblood, Tyler & Associates

Since our establishment in 1971, Youngblood, Tyler & Associates has been dedicated to the highest principles and practices of civil engineering, land surveying, site development and land planning. We became a SWaM certified small business in March 2009.

We partner with our clients in all phases of development during a project, from land purchasing, rezoning and on-site consulting to dealing with attorneys, working with adjacent neighbors and securing government approvals. We will even perform a feasibility study and preliminary site design prior to land purchase to determine if a site is suitable for the client’s purpose.

Our talented staff has worked on numerous "Planned Communities" throughout the Richmond area and it is experienced in the coordination of bringing together the many aspects associated with such designs. This talent has been rewarded by receiving the "Best Planned Community of the Year" in 1992 and the "Best Planned Community Under 100 Lots in Richmond" in 2001. With a world of experience and creativity among our staff, we fit technical problems with innovative solutions that bring life to the communities where we live and work.
